Wellington 1: Thomas, the Asshole

Mild Nudity, FYI

The sounds of the water rushing through the jets of my hot tub were incredibly relaxing. More water poured down the makeshift waterfall that was the side of the Jacuzzi which was made of a giant rock that towered over me, complete with a fake palm tree. I pictured myself in a place that was entirely tropical, where I could lay on the beach all day, have hot tanned men rub suntan lotion on me while fanning me, bringing me bottomless margaritas, and feeding me grapes. Instead, I live in Sunset Valley, Minnesota, which is probably the most boring and uneventful town in the universe.

Laying my head back against the side of the faux rocks that made up the rim of the tub, I think about what I want to do for the rest of the day. I look over at the sauna set I have on the other side of the pool room, happy that I can afford such luxurious things. I live in this mansion with my husband, Thomas Wellington. He's kind of an asshole most of the time, but it's nothing I can't put up with. Truth be told, I don't really care that much. We've been growing apart for a while now, and when I think about it more, I don't know if we ever loved each other for real. We were both from privileged families, so it was expected that we would marry within our social status. Neither of us minded the way things were, even though we constantly bored each other most times when we tried to converse. We usually hang out in different parts of the house. Right now, I don't know where Thomas is, and I don't particularly give a shit.

When the tips of my fingers start to look like raisins, I pry myself out of the hot tub and shut it off, toweling off and deciding I need to work on my figure. I enjoy my hourglass shape, and I work out at least four times a week. It's important to me that I look perfect all the time. As I walk out of the pool room, I see a figure in a green sweater sitting in the small reading nook tucked into a little crevice of our mansion. It's Thomas, reading a book. I snicker at his choice of seating location because it's one of the smallest rooms in our mansion and I equate the size of the room to the size of what's in his pants, or lack thereof, I should say. I do think Thomas is somewhat attractive, but I've had better, and someone like me deserves someone way hotter than Thomas, who's just a typical pretentious average looking guy who thinks he's so intelligent. I have no doubts that once we do meet up again, he's going to shove knowledge down my throat like he always does to make him feel better about himself.

I continue ignoring Thomas, not caring to acknowledge him in the slightest. I head downstairs to the open concept gym that we have on the first floor. My equipment of choice today is the treadmill. I picked the one with the most settings, just so I have them all for my use, should I ever need them. During my workout, I see Thomas through the window, standing in the garden, or what's left of the garden, cursing and having a fit. I realize it looks like he's just standing there, but I know him well enough to know he doesn't give two shits about doing the gardening himself. He just goes out there to bitch about how bad of a job the gardeners do. He's fired countless staff members because he thinks they're incompetent, but it's mainly because he's impatient, and not very tolerant. If the gardener doesn't keep on top of the care of the plants, Thomas gets mad and fires them. When he does go out in  the garden, he usually curses under his breath, and then comes storming in about how shitty the garden is and how we need to make our curb appeal look better, even though we have no intentions of selling this house at all.

Working out made me hungry, so I prepared some dinner. What? Just because I have a personal chef come in sometimes, it doesn't mean I don't know how to cook. Thomas must have smelled the food so he came in and joined me. Too bad I wasn't quite done with my meal, so that I was forced to talk to him.

"Really, Sierra? Macaroni and cheese? I didn't even know we had such crap in our house."

"You grabbed a bowl. What does that say about you?"

Thomas glared at me, and picked up his spoon as a silent way of changing the subject.

"Jesus, Sierra, that's so unladylike, you could have waited for me to sit down before wolfing down your food like a farm animal. You're going to have to live on the treadmill if you keep at it."

"Waiting for you is like waiting for paint to dry. If I had waited for you, the macaroni would have spoiled already."

"Did you know the gardener fucked up the garden again? There's one tomato plant that's survived, the rest of it is an atrocity."

"If you know so much about gardening, why don't you just become the gardener?"

Thomas was silent as he finally started to eat his dinner. He wasn't silent for long of course, as I suspected, he started blabbing gibberish about the book he had been reading when I saw him sitting in the library nook earlier today.

"I do not garden because that is what a gardener is for. I just wish we had a good gardener. We have the money for it, clearly. Anyway, I was reading The Player's Journey, and it's very good, it's about a man who has many mistresses, and how he-"

"Oh, so it's a book written about your life."

"Shut up, Sierra. You know nothing about my life, it's not like you ever talk to me."

"I'm talking to you now, and I could say the same for you. When's the last time we had an actual conversation, rather than just hurl insults over dinner?"

When Thomas didn't answer me, I got up from the table and pushed my chair in, going to clear my plate. I needed a shower after my treadmill workout, and I certainly wasn't about to sit here any longer with Thomas.

"You're going to take my eye candy away from me so soon?"

I ignored Thomas' sarcastic remark and headed towards the bathroom, even though I was secretly flattered that he still thought I was eye candy.

Once inside, I let the bath water warm up while I got myself ready. It wasn't until I sat down that I felt the weight of the day lift off my shoulders. I thought about what Thomas had said, how I didn't talk to him anymore, and I guessed that was somewhat true. We had grown apart, and I knew that, I think both of us knew that, but it was only now that I wondered if Thomas cared or was hurt by it in any way. We hadn't slept with each other in a while, both of us finding ways to satisfy ourselves that didn't include the other. When I was done with my shower, I wrapped myself in a towel and headed upstairs to the bedroom. I was exhausted. I opened the door to an empty bed, as usual. Thomas usually opted to sleep in the guest room rather than our master bedroom. I enjoyed it for the most part since I had the whole thing to myself. I slipped a nightgown on and laid down on the 1,800 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. I loved how the bed felt, even if I wasn't using it for inappropriate activities.

I had been asleep for probably about thirty minutes when I heard the bedroom door open and some shuffling around that sounded like bare feet on carpet.

"Sierra, are you still awake?"

I heard Thomas' annoying voice, wondering why the hell he was here. He always had some other woman to fulfill his sexual desires, but I couldn't think of any other reason for him to step foot in our bedroom again after so long.

"Yeah, why?"

"Want to fuck?"

I sat up, knowing that I wasn't going to decline his offer, but wanting him to work for it after all the times he'd so purposefully chose not to have sex with me.

"Maybe."

Thomas rolled his stupid pink eyes at me, placing one hand on his hip and the other on the side of his neck. I let my eyes wander down his body. He did have a nice body, now if only his face was more exciting.

"Look, Sierra, I don't have time for your bullshit. You want to do this or not?"

I got up off the bed, and slapped him. He glared at me, which turned me on a little bit. He looked so uninteresting, but when he was angry, he was actually more attractive. I gripped the back of his hair and planted my lips onto his, shoving my tongue roughly into his mouth. He kissed me back just as hard, and put his hand under my nightgown, pushing two of his fingers inside me. I moved my hips on him, and as much as I hated him, I missed him touching me, and showing me any affection whatsoever. No matter how much of an asshole he was, he was still my husband. Thomas moved his kisses down to my neck, slamming my hands against the wall, roughly, but not in a mean way.

I was in the middle of feeling really good from what Thomas' fingers were doing to me when he suddenly withdrew them and ripped off my nightgown, throwing it on the floor.

"Asshole, that was expensive!"

"Shut up, you have like a million other nightgowns."

I can't deny that what he said wasn't true. After telling me to shut up, Thomas pulled his pants down and lifted my left leg up so he could get easier access to me. I looked down and was surprised to see how excited he was. I guess he wasn't lying when he said I was his eye candy. I grabbed fistfuls of the hair on top of his head and continued to kiss him as he began to thrust into me powerfully, his other hand massaging my hip and eventually my butt. He pressed me against him, pushing himself in even further.

I had forgotten how good he did feel during the times we managed to put aside our hate for each other and come together as husband and wife. After we both climaxed, I expected nothing less from him when he pulled out of me, picked up his pants and walked out of the room. Asshole.

Naming Poll

Hi! I've been working on this site all day today, giving it a face lift, and trying to get the story going again with a completely new Sim and story line. I'm still going to call this the Zenteri site though, even though I'm starting completely from scratch. Something I'm doing differently is dividing the kids up into groups of 10. I thought it would be fun to have each group have it's own name theme. I'm making a poll here to see what people think the first group of name themes should be. I could pick it myself, but I thought I'd let you readers play around a little and be interactive about it. I don't have a chapter written for this or anything yet, so for now I'll leave the poll up until at least May 16th.

Poll Closed

Winner: Mythological

I Don't Know Anymore...

I've been doing some thinking about this story, and I just don't know anymore. I used to be filled to the brim with ideas for this thing, even updating multiple times a day. Now I find that I don't come back to this until about every five weeks. The five week mark has hit, and I don't really want to update this story. I feel like I've perhaps lost passion for it, and after writing The Compound, where I really started stretching my writing abilities, I started to feel like this one isn't written as well. In a way, I feel like this story is inferior to my other stories. The Compound must have been a turning point for me or something because I know I changed my writing for the better, and I take pride in both of my new stories, Echoes of Eternity, and Blink of an Eye.

I know I lost my way to the initial vision I had for this story, which was an epic love story. I still want this to be an epic love story, but I have no idea how to get it there. I also know I have too many story arcs going because I haven't been able to tie them together well, if at all. I got Maximus out of it, which I will always be grateful for. For now, I am going to close Zenteri, meaning I will not be updating it regularly, but I will not delete it.

If I figure out a way to reboot Zenteri, I will, otherwise perhaps later on I will try to come up with another epic love story. In the meantime, you will be able to find me at my two other stories. Both links below will take you to the beginning of each story.

Blink of an Eye
What would you do if suddenly, in the blink of an eye, your entire world was turned upside down? Would you fight back, would you run, would you cry, or would you hide? This story starts out just like that, when the lives of four strangers are changed forever.

Echoes of Eternity
Some of you have read this since I already announced it on this blog. Maximus, Sicily's twenty-third child, starts life on his own in Silicon Shores. Follow his life and the life of his offspring as they try to make it on their own. Each generation is inspired by a movie quote I find desirable and fitting for the story.

Thanks for listening to this announcement, and for being loyal readers of the Zenteri Baby Challenge.

Hugs,

Chapter 71: Sneaking Out

Mild Nudity, FYI ~ Late Knight Simmer

I walked home from my encounter with Kasey and Lord Cristoff deep in thought. I wanted to see Lord Cristoff again, and I was fairly sure I could considering he and his men had set up camp on the land. As I walked up to my house, I was determined to tell my father about how Kasey had treated me. I opened the door and saw my father sitting on the floor, doing, I don't know what he was doing, to be honest, other than just sitting there.

"Father, can I talk to you?"

"Yes, of course, Sicily."

"I saw some men today, some non-tribal men. They want to start a civilization. I also saw Kasey, and he got really mad when he saw them. I don't know what to think about that. Also, you should know, Kasey slapped me."

"What did you do to make him slap you?"

My eyes turned angry when my father seemed to think I had deserved to be slapped. What the fuck was this? I contained my anger and tried to answer him neutrally.

"I simply told him what I overheard, that the non-tribal men wanted to start a civilization. Kasey got all war-crazy and said he would fight them. I told him maybe we could share the land and he hit me."

"Kasey is right, the non-tribal men will try to take our land from us as they expand."

"Aren't you concerned that he hit me, Father?"

"Well, yes, but you seem all right. He is engaged to you, though, so it would be wise of you to listen to his words."

I couldn't believe this. I had no say in the matter? I could be hit as long as I "seemed fine" afterwards? What the fuck? I'm glad I don't truly live in this time era because this kind of shit is ridiculous. I got up angrily and stormed off to my room. I wanted to run off somewhere because no one here was helping me figure out anything, instead they were just making me angry. I just happened to look out my window and saw Lord Cristoff walking past my house. Perfect. He was just the person I wanted to talk to.

I tapped on the window to get Lord Cristoff's attention. He looked up briefly and smiled, then stopped walking, much to my happiness. I quickly opened my window and jumped out of it, landing in front of Lord Cristoff. He smiled at me again and took my hand. I loved how my hand fit in his.

"Would you go on a walk with me, Lord Cristoff? I just had a bad conversation with my father, and I'm angry."

"Certainly, milady. Would you like to go to the lake?"

"Sure."

When we got to the lake, we sat down on the grass, and Lord Cristoff put his arms around me. We sat there for a while, just enjoying each others company. We looked up at the stars and how beautiful everything looked. I was not used to how much nature was around me, even though Ravenview was a farm town, seeing America before it had been settled was amazing. I felt very safe in Lord Cristoff's arms even though I'd only known him for almost a day. He had gained my trust today when he stood up for me this afternoon.

I looked at his face, which was so calm and serene. His eyes sparkled in the moonlight. He noticed me looking at him and touched my shoulder softly.

"Are you still angry, milady?"

"No, I feel better now that you are here."

"I am pleased to hear that, milady."

I turned and kissed Lord Cristoff on the cheek. He looked at me with kindness in his eyes and moved his face closer to mine. I felt a magnetic attraction to him, a definite chemistry that I couldn't resist. Our lips met, and I enjoyed his hot breath on my face. It was a nice contrast to the chilly night air. I kissed him a little more deeply, and he put his arms around me, pulling me onto him. I made my way from his lips to his cheek, then his ear, and eventually his neck.

I came up for air and looked at him, he had his eyes closed, and an adorable smile on his face. I loved the way his strong arms felt around me. It had been a while since I was in a guy's arms and I missed it. Lord Cristoff rolled me over and kissed my neck and jawline. His kisses felt so good, and they tickled a little bit. Quickly, in the heat of the moment, we stripped off our clothing and continued making out. Lord Cristoff had his hand behind my head and was massaging the back of it, which felt so relaxing.

I rubbed my hands all over his bare skin, and the muscles on his back and arms were heavenly. I guess being a knight does well for a man's physique. The water was rippling softly as the sun rose over the horizon, casting a bit of warmth over us. I was completely ready for Lord Cristoff, so I put my legs around his waist, and rubbed against him. He opened his eyes and looked at me, while filling me completely. I massaged his shoulders as he pulled himself in and out of me, bringing us both to ecstasy.

Chapter 70: Newcomers

After exploring a little bit, I realized that the next closest house was going to be miles away on foot. I decided I wasn't curious enough about Kasey to walk that far. The weather was nice though, so I didn't feel like going back to my house yet since there really wasn't much to do there. I was just about to sit down next to a small clearing and grab some water from the pond when I heard a loud noise. I darted behind a tree and peeked out to see what was happening. There were three men in what looked to be medieval looking garb setting up camp next to the pond.

One was blonde, the other dark haired, and the third, who caught my eye, was a redhead. Although they were all wearing medieval clothes, the redhead looked like he was in charge because his clothing was more decorated and glamorous than the other two men. I decided to stay and eavesdrop.

"Joshua, gather some firewood for this fire pit. Ramon, help me fish. We can celebrate our arrival to the New World with a good meal."

The New World? I must be in the era of time when America was first being discovered. Why on earth was I sent so far back in time? Just to disorient me or something? I had to admit it was quite an adventure, considering most people just read about this kind of stuff in history books, while I get to experience it firsthand. I continued spying on the three men and eventually Joshua came back with some firewood, so they could eat.

"Where do you think is a good spot for starting our new civilization, Lord Cristoff?"

"Well, wherever there are a lot of trees, and water nearby would be good also. That way we have all our resources close. People like towns with a good selection of things available to them. Have you seen any of the people rumored to live in the trees yet?"

"No, my Lord, but I've been warned that they are dangerous. We should watch out for them. Do you think they really live in trees?"

"Of course not, Ramon, no one can live in a tree. Trees can be used to build houses, but to live amongst the branches seems quite ridiculous."

All three men started laughing. I found their conversation silly. They really thought that tribes of people here were tree dwellers? Wait? Am I one of these supposed tree dwellers? I did wake up on this land already, while they had to travel to it. My father and I lived in a log cabin, probably the same kind that they were thinking of building themselves. I found my role reversal quite wierd since in modern days, I would have been on the same level as these guys, probably meeting them at various places around Ravenview. I somehow felt lower class, however, when they were talking about the people who already lived here.

CRACK... Someone had stepped on a branch behind me. I froze, unsure of what was going to happen. I hoped the men across the pond didn't hear it because I didn't know if they were going to be hostile or kind. I was also hoping the person behind me was not hostile.

"Sicily. Why are you always outside wandering around?"

When I heard a man's voice, and that he knew who I was, I guessed that it was Kasey who was talking to me.

"Kasey, be quiet. There are strange men over there across the pond. I don't know if they're dangerous or not. It would be good not to talk so loudly."

"What do they want?"

"I don't know. They said something about building a new civilization here."

Kasey looked towards the men at the firepit and I saw anger in his eyes. It freaked me out a little especially since I was supposedly being paired with Kasey for the good of my tribe.

"What? That is unacceptable. This is our land. We are the only ones who should be building things here. I'll go tell my father, he will know what to do to make them leave."

"Can't we share with them? There's a lot of land."

"No! If we let them take a little, they'll become greedy and want more. Then they'll kill us so they can take the parts of it that we live on."

"Are you speaking from experience? Is that how you act when people share with you?"

I felt my face sting as Kasey's hand came in contact with my face. I felt rage build up inside me as I realized he had just hit me. I'd never been hit by a man before. Suddenly the men across the pond were no longer of any concern to me. I glared at Kasey and punched him in the jaw. It hurt my hand a little, but he deserved it.

He reeled back, in complete shock that I had hit him back. He raised his hand to hit me again and I stepped back to avoid the force of his slap. Suddenly I heard a voice close to me. It was the voice of Lord Cristoff from across the pond. Apparently he had heard the scuffle between Kasey and I. Seeing him up close, my cheeks flushed red at how handsome he was. Lord Cristoff stood in between me and Kasey and raised his arm in front of me as a barrier so Kasey couldn't get to me.

"It's disrespectful to strike a woman."

"You can't tell me how to treat my woman. She's betrothed to me. You are nothing, just a foreign invader of MY land! Just you wait, my father will make sure you either leave or die."

"Are you threatening me?"

"No, I'm promising you get what you deserve."

Kasey glared at Lord Cristoff and ran away into the bushes. I was irritated that I was engaged to such a jackass.

"Are you okay, milady? Your face. It's red."

"Yes, thank you for stopping him."

I looked into Lord Cristoff's eyes, and they were filled with genuine concern. He had red flecks in his brown eyes, a strong jawline, and a prominent nose. I was definitely attracted to him and not Kasey.

"I am Lord Cristoff Westing from England. My men and I are here to survey the land to see if it's suitable for a new civilization."

"My name is Sicily Zenteri. I live in a log cabin a few miles from here. Are you really going to take all the land away and kick people out who already live here?"

"No of course not. We can live together on the land. It's a big place, we can both have parts of it, don't you think?"

"I do. That's what I was telling Kasey before he hit me the first time."

As I talked more to Lord Cristoff, he seemed like a respectable man with lots of honor. He was definitely chivalrous, saving me from Kasey's wrath. I had no idea if my father knew how much of a jerk Kasey was, so I decided that the next time I went home, I would tell him about it.

Chapter 69: Lost

Sicily's back!
I realized I was having a hard time with the story line because it was getting too "normal," thereby causing it to become repetitive for me to write. For this story, I really need to tap into the fantastical realm of my mind. I hope you enjoy it.

~ Late Knight Simmer ~

What the fuck? Why am in a field? The last thing I remember was Max graduating. This certainly doesn't look like Ravenview either. I'm also wearing a strange dress and no shoes. I don't feel weird or hurt, so that's a plus, at least. I sit up, checking my arms and legs for anything that may give me a clue as to what's going on, but I don't see anything except the dress and a weird blue necklace.

"Sicily! Sicily!"

Imagine my surprise when I hear someone calling my name. I didn't recognize the voice, which was even worse. Is this one of Eleanor's tricks? Am I in some weird parallel universe? What the hell is going on? Well, here goes nothing. I pick myself up off the ground, and brush off my strange dress that feels like it's made of animal hide. The grass feels soft on my feet, and I realize it's been a while since I've walked barefoot in the grass. I'm not quite sure where I'm going except for walking in the direction of the voice I heard earlier.

I come to a small house made of logs, and I'm sure it is where the voice originated. I pull open the door, and walk inside. There is a fur rug on the floor, which is also made of logs. Everything looks so primitive, and I'm not sure why. I feel like I stepped back in time.

"Sicily, there you are. Are you hungry?"

A man wearing pants that look like they are also made of animal hide stands in front of me, handing me a bowl of soup. I smile at him, wanting to be polite even though I don't really have a clue what is going on. I immediately notice that I don't have that strong urge to seduce the man, even though he's not bad looking at all. I decide that if I just talk to him, then maybe I can figure out what the hell is going on. The man sits in front of me, also eating a bowl of soup.

"So, Sicily, what have you been doing all day?"

Considering I didn't really know what I had been doing today, let alone what time or day it even was, I decided to answer as honestly as I could while still playing along.

"I was napping out in the field."

"Again? Sicily, you spend a lot of time just staring at the grass and up at the sky. Maybe you should be getting to know Kasey better. After all, you two are meant to be paired up when the summer is over."

"Kasey? Why?"

"It's a peace offering, Sicily. Come on, darling, you know that. As the chief's daughter, the pairing of you and Kasey will bring peace to our tribes."

Apparently I'm in some sort of tribe, and this man is my pretend father, but I still have no idea how I got here. I also know I'm not supposed to be paired with anyone since it always ends badly for both of us. I'm a peace offering, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. After the soup, I thank the man and tell him I'm going out to see Kasey. He seems pleased with my decision. Before I leave, he comes over and gives me a hug.

"I am proud of you, my daughter."

I hug him back, but know that he's not really my father. He might be my father in this weird universe I'm in, but I know my father was murdered when I was a toddler. From what "Dad" said, I'm not sure Kasey will give me the answers I need either, but I feel like it wouldn't hurt to go see for myself who he is.
